Userboxes are a super fun way to decorate your page and show off your style! I struggled learning how to make them but now I'm going to show you step by step. I recommend using the Second Way because it's much simpler and easier.

First WayEdit

Step 1Edit

Create a new page and call it Template: What Ever You Want Your Userbox To Be Called. To create a page, go on your profile and click 'Edit'. There you should put the name of the template you're making (example: {{Example}}). Click 'Publish'. Now the text is red. Click on it. If not already, switch it into source mode then copy and paste this code on to the page -

{| cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:238px; background: NAMEOFCOLOR; border: 3px solid NAMEOFCOLOR"
| style="width:45px; height:45px; background: NAMEOFCOLOR; text-align:center; font-size:14pt;" |[[File:NAMEOFFILE|170px]]
| style="font-size:8pt; padding:4pt; line-height:1.25em;" |SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY

Step 2Edit

Replace the NAMEOFCOLOR with any color you want. For the border though, you must keep the SOLID before it and then place the color. For example, solid blue, solid red, solid grey.

Where it says NAMEOFFILE, place the name of the file. (For example, Tesss2.png)

Where is says SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY, you put your own personalized text.

Where you see numbers followed by px you can change the numbers to your own personalized setting. (For example, I can change the border width from 3px to 8px. I can change the size of the file from 70px to 140px)

Step 3Edit

Click publish once you are finished.

Step 4Edit

To post a userbox on your page from the Userboxes page, put the code between four brackets. (For example, {{LifeWithBoysFan}} result is below.)

Lifewithboyslogo This user loves Life with Boys.

Second WayEdit

The second way is much simpler and easier than the first one. If you want to use it on some other Wiki, just make sure that that Wiki has a template called 'Userbox' with the correct content. Just click on the template {{Userbox}}. Click 'Edit' and copy the content of the page. Then, you should create a new page. To create a page, go on your profile and click 'Edit'. There you should put the name of the template you're making. Just pick a word/more words that describe your userbox. Then you put two brackets on each side of the word. Like, for example {{MadisonPettis}}. Just make sure that there's no other userbox with the same code. Now that you have created a new page, paste the content of the {{Userbox}} template on your page. Now all you have to do is fill in the blanks. If you don't know how to fill them in, see {{MadisonPettis}} and copy the info (image width, border style, border width, font size). Click 'Publish'. Done!

NOTE: If you don't make it the first time, just keep practicing. It took me a long time to figure out how to make userboxes, but I have practiced a lot and I've seen all my mistakes and fixed them. Just keep practicing!
